Appeals Process
Derived from our Community Guidelines, Section 9.
When You Can Appeal
You may submit an appeal if any of the following actions were taken against your account or content:
- Content removal — Your explainer was removed for a guideline violation.
- Feature restriction — Your ability to publish or share was limited.
- Account suspension — Your account was temporarily or permanently suspended.
- Attribution enforcement — Action was taken for removing the "Built with Scrolly" footer.
How to Appeal
- Email: Send your appeal to trust@scrolly.to within 30 days of the action.
- Include: Your account email, the URL of the affected explainer (if applicable), and a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.
- Response time: We aim to respond to all appeals within 5 business days.
What Happens Next
- A member of the Trust & Safety team will review your appeal.
- If the appeal is upheld, the action will be reversed and your content or access will be restored.
- If the appeal is denied, you will receive an explanation of the decision.
- Appeal decisions are final. Repeated appeals for the same action will not be re-reviewed unless new evidence is provided.
